Now Hold Tight is a playful and petite vertical triptych created in January 2023. It follows the street installation of this tiny work in December 2022. The addition of the boy gives a fun new context to the swinging girl. It's a fantastic whimsical little piece that packs a lot into its modest dimensions. Painted on sparkling metallic grey A5 paper, the images brilliantly pop off the surface. The ropes are metallic gold. The title of this piece is a play on the title of my Now Hold Still piece which sold out last year.
This five-colour signed and numbered piece is limited to a series of just ten works. It is hand-cut and hand-sprayed on gorgeous metallic satin-textured 285gsm paper. As such, each piece is unique, with its own individual (im)perfections. Each of the three panels that make up the work approximately measure 15cm x 21cm. They are sold unframed and are shipped carefully packed in a rigid envelope.
